There is so much to like about this bath. The sink is installed on beautifully shaped metal legs with integral towel bars instead of the usual pedestal. This gives the ceramic basin a lightness that is proportionate for the narrow space. The mirrored back wall adds depth which appears to increase the size of the room. Natural light is a huge bonus and the tailored Roman shade is just the right treatment for the door; a linen fabric with a narrow stripe accentuates the verticality of the room. Brass shelves are an inspired touch, adding the idea of mixed finishes. They are practical as well, providing a place to display beautiful collections of objects and storage for elegant monogrammed towels.

This is a well thought out, appealing vignette. The raised panel vanity style is familiar but the combination of a great shade of gray, clear crystal knobs that become invisible, the Calcatta stone slab with its light gray and gold veins and tall backsplash, and the personal accessories make this so pleasant. However, the main ingredient is the gold leaf decorative French mirror accompanied by a pair of very simple lights. This is a great example how an ordinary space can be transformed with just one incredible object.

The modern .25 freestanding tub is a wonderful juxtaposition against the large decorative mirror and brilliant blue wall. The proportion of the mirror gives the right scale to the design.
This vintage three part magnifying mirror with light is fantastic. They were made in the 30's but look very modern in this installation.
A mirror installed in an architectural fragment with a lovely old finish is just the right decoration over a footed traditional bath.
Twisted twigs make a truly original mirror. The texture is great and the scale somewhat oversized for a dramatic effect. I love the drama of the dark walls as well.
This is a very glamorous bath with a dresssing vanity in the middle. The lovely old mirror is clearly the focus of the installation. The storage medicine cabinets are as simple as possible letting the mirror in the middle become the star.
A simple frame with mirrored squares held in place with decorative tacks is a nice finishing touch to this installation.
The shape of this mirror adds interest to the space. The shelves are interesting as well and a great place for decorative objects. The dark chair rail is a bit harsh and competes with all of the design elements in the room.

A mirror in the bath is an essential element. It is a necessary grooming tool. The mirror also reflects light and seems to enlarge a space.
