The Azure Blue Indoor Pool at Hearst Castle

It is not often that one gets to see a contemporary indoor pool. The first one that comes to mind is Hearst Castle, that extraordinary extravaganza of surfaces and space that make you feel like you are in a fairy tale. The next, for me, is the remarkable pool pictured here, in which every detail has been magically conceived and the experience of being in the space is totally memorable. It bears a resemblance to the Hearst pool, for sure.
